Campbell Plowden - Executive Director & Project Leader
Dr. Campbell Plowden has 27 years of experience as an advocate, researcher, policy analyst, project leader, and teacher focused on tropical forest conservation and traditional communities. He is a recognized expert on the ecology, sustainable harvest and marketing of non-timber forest products and founded the Center for Amazon Community Ecology in 2006. He is also active in his Quaker Meeting.
Yully Katty Rojas Reategui - Ampiyacu Project Manager/CACE Representative in Peru
Yully Rojas is an agronomist with 16 years of experience conducting natural resource studies and social improvement projects with traditional communities in the Peruvian Amazon. As Ampiyacu Project Manager, she visits our five partner communities every month to support handicraft development with women artisans, work with forest project teams, and coordinate other affairs with community leaders.
Clever Mibeco Panduro - Local Project Coordinator
Clever Panduro is a life-long resident of the Bora native community of Brillo Nuevo. He completed secondary school in the village school and is bilingual in Spanish and Bora. He is an accomplished woodsman and was chosen to be the CACE Project Local Coordinator at a village general assembly. He provides logistical support for the project manager, forest teams and Social Rebate activities.
