Saidi Ally Mbungu - Director, The African Modern Arts Park

Saidi Mbungu, a talented artist from Bagamoyo town has started his career by joining the art school in Dar Es Salam where he graduated. Trained by numerous English and Swedish artists at the school it was clear that Saidi has a unique talent that distinguishes him from all his colleagues at the school. Saidi masters the art of painting, carving and drawing of comics; Janga.

Pili Ally Mbungu - Sewing Workship Manager

Pili is a talented artist running the sewing workshop teaching sewing techniques to Western volunteers as well as other local children who are interested to learn the art of tailoring. The sewing workshop provides a source of income through the exhibit shop selling the various products tailored onsite. The couple Saidi and Pili have a keen sense of helping the community through our project.
