Dr.Krishna Vatsa - Director, Dwarka Center

She has previously worked as a teacher in a mainstream school. A Masters degree in Special Education and a Ph.D. specializing in Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) helped her to streamline and initiate projects in the organization. She has organized a Rehabilitation Council of India Course and has been on faculty. She has made presentations in national and international conferences.

Dr. Reena Bhattacharya - Director, Dakshinpuri Center

A MSc in Psychology and a short term course on family therapy enabled her to work for two and half years as a psychologist in a special education school and ten years in the Child Guidance Center in The Jamia Milia University. She has also been on the faculty of the Rehabilitation Council of India, the National Institute for Mental Handicap and the Okhla Teacher Training Institute.

Pramila Balasundaram - Founder -Executive Director

She was motivated to found Samadhan by a niece with Downs Syndrome. A postgraduate in English Literature and Semantics and a brief "hands-on" training in Germany helped her to identify lacunae in services in India, particularly for the poor. She has made about 15 presentations in international conferences, authored many articles and received an Award of Recognition from Inclusion International.
