This year, 45 contributers helped write the Hopes & Mirages handbook and a collection of standalone articles relating to Entrepreneurship in Africa. Each year, AAE works with it's authoring team in presenting an updated outlook on the business environment in Africa as part of its Research and Publication Project. The result can be used as an effective tools of research, advocacy and awareness in furtherance of entrepreneurship.
The team spent time on undertaking research on the entrepreneurial environment in each country in Africa, and studied all the relevant economic indicators for each country. Each volunteer author wrote an article, and submitted the same to the editor, who then compiled, edited and designed the pieces to fit into a PDF book., and as standalone PDF downloads. The final products was proof-read and streamlined, and eventually published.
The handbook and articles function as a guide for anyone who wishes to embark upon a business enterprise in any part of Africa.
Each contribution has been immense and significant in making this venture successful. To have worked tirelessly in recording and verifying information, and then putting it across to readers in a way that would be both interesting and utility-oriented, and to have also added the aesthetic values to the same is not a mean task.
The project falls under the ambit of MDG 1, MDG 2 and MDG 8. Through awareness, this AAE is offering promise through entrepreneurship to combat poverty, through information to create universal education, and through business and entrepreneurship to create a global partnership.
