Summary

In Paraguay, some children suffer abuse at the hands of their own family. The objective of this project is to work with these families at the root of the problem to promote stable relationships.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

The Project Beneficiaries include: 150 children ages 0 to 12 who suffer abuse; 1,050 family members of the abused children; 6 Children Courts in the Capital city; the community

How will this project solve this problem?

Initial assessment of the family situation and the child form the different aspects: work, social psychological and legal. From the assessment refer to corresponding specific area. Interview the 3 nuclear areas of the family (father and mother)

Potential Long Term Impact

Families and children living in a safe and protected environment will assure access to all their rights. Communities and families will be stronger and sustained by employment. Society and businesses made aware of the problem of abused children.
