Them Nyamunongo - Founding Board Member

Mr. Nyamunongo attended schools on Idjwi and in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo. Prior to moving to the United States in 1999, he attended the University of Bukavu. A photographer and an information technology professional, Mr. Nyamunongo is fluent in French, Swahili, and English.

Beth Hesler - Board Member

Ms. Hesler is a Community Architect and has focused her professional practice on community revitalization, and her volunteer efforts on child development. Ms. Hesler has more than a decade's experience planning, designing, and managing public and private projects ranging from 3 acres to 3,000 acres.

David Hackney - Board Member

David Hackney is the Senior Counsel for Global Human Resources for The Nature Conservancy. Previously, Mr. Hackney was the General Counsel at One Economy Corp. and Director of Human Resources at DigitalBridge Communications. In the public sector, Mr. Hackney was a federal prosecutor, a war crimes prosecutor with the United Nations, and an attorney-advisor for the state department in Kosovo.
