The last 3 months has been very exciting for the children and the teachers themselves. The kids made incredible progress, created their own email accounts and started to connect with the world, sending emails to everyone they know. The attendance to the program is the highest of the whole organization, confirming that is really motivating and everyone is interested in being part of it. Our two new teachers have been working with different platforms and tools (games, documentaries, blogs, etc) to tackle different issues of the children's reality, like violence and literacy problems.
We've also added to the program to new 'toys'. Two digital cameras that the kids are bringing to their own place for couple of days and they are encouraged to tell their stories and reality to the public. This is relatevely new and we will see the results soon, but the enthusiasm has been overwhelming.
