Sadili Oval’s SPORTS FOR LIFE Program who were recently awarded Bronze in the Total Eco Challenge 2009 for their successful Youth Soccer League and Tree Planting efforts received 200 solar LED lights from a German Company , Osram, and Thames Electrical Limited (a local electrical company for Osram products). The ceremony was held at Sadili Oval Sports Academy, Langata, on Wednesday ,16th December 2009, from 10.00am.
In attendance were representatives from the Prime Minister's Office, and community leaders.This welcome donation forms part of the 'Sports and Education Programme' in which we hope to furnish over 1500 families with sustainable solar LED lights. Thank you Danny Hill, for making it all possible, and believing in us!
