We are happy to report that the regional library included as part of the new Mayan Center is in the final stages of construction. We anticipate that full-time classes will begin at the center in 2008, at which point it is essential that the library be equipped to provide the students with the necessary educational resources. We continue to solicit and collect donations to equip the library with books and other educational tools that will facilitate and enhance the education the students receive.
The library will be the most important part of the high school facility. However, we still are a long way from our fund-raising goal for the library. We need your financial support to create a first-rate library for the Maya. Your donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you from the Maya to those who have already contributed to our library fund.
