Summary

This project will distribute food to 200 children and 500 breastfeeding mothers who have stopped taking anti-retroviral drugs (ARVs) due to lack of food. Without food, they do not take ARVs.

Challenge

The project will address lack of access to food among AIDS patients. It will specifically benefit children and breastfeeding mothers on ARVs.

Solution

-Provide nutritious food stuffs to children and breastfeeding mothers on ARVs. -Conduct sensitization sessions on nutrition for children and breastfeeding mothers on ARVs and their care givers

Long-Term Impact

The project will enable these patients get energy and be able to grow their own food during the rainy season.The project will enable the patients continue taking the ARVs to improve their health.
