As always, my time at Stanford University has been busy but rewarding.</p> <p>I'm excited to share with you that SEE College Prep, the non-profit I founded, was recently featured in the education section of the New York Times. This is an incredible opportunity for us, and really shows how far the organization has come since its founding less than two years ago. You can view the article here: http://thechoice.blogs.nytimes.com/tag/see-college-prep</p> <p>At just over $200 per student, our programs create a world of opportunity for students from low-income communities who otherwise might not be able to attend a four-year college. More than 500 students have gone through our programs already and improved their SAT scores an average of 210 points. We are working diligently to build partnerships that will enable us to expand our reach to 700 students at 20 locations across California in the upcoming year.
