Rehabilitate and protect key wildlife refuges and corridors damaged in Australia’s worst natural disaster, the February 2009 Victorian wildfires.
To ensure the survival of some of Australia’s most precious and beloved marsupials, birds and reptiles and its ecosystem. Extensive damage to habitat caused by the wildfires. The temperate rainforest and species will benefit from this project.
Planting less flammable native trees will help restore the damaged forest and create a natural buffer to untouched, pristine rainforest, home to many unique animals, birds, reptiles and insects. Bolstering natural refuges.
