Share & SaveMore Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesPeople with spinal cord injuries are marginalized and are often overlooked by mainstream development interventions. This makes them some of the most deprived and vulnerable people in low-income countries. KASI works in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania to educate people with spinal cord injuries about health issues, to address poverty through skills training and income generating activities, and to advocate for basic rights and equal opportunities. ActivitiesBy providing training, education, mobility aids and a supportive community, the quality of life for the disabled population of Kilimanjaro is greatly improved. With your support we can grow to serve the greater disabled population of Tanzania.
