5 high-growth, business development programs for African firms to help them maximize operations, train staff, create new jobs, spur innovation, inspire younger generations, and compete globally.
In order to combat poverty, Africa needs to create long-term solutions to solving issues itself, not be dependent upon foreign aid, not be at the mercy of corrupt government officials, and not be at the constant mercy of natural disasters. The solution is in the local private sector - finding established companies that are managed by socially-responsible local leaders; assessing their business' needs, and filling them with mgmt training, short-term consultants, mentors, int'l networking, et al.
GMA works with local groups to select firms that can transform their societies (e.g. tech-oriented, women-run, industrial, media). We recruit top MBAs & senior level mentors; help find funding, conduct trainings, and pinpoint expansion bottlenecks.
The project will serve approx. 20 businesses/200 workers in Ghana in the IT/Telecom, Business Media, Pharma, Manuf, and Tourism sectors - to provide staff training, consulting, tech transfer, and employment opportunities that are in high demand.
