Mission

1. To combat poverty in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). 2. To create domestic (U.S.) understanding of development issues in SSA. 3. To increase socioeconomic ties between the US and SSA. 4. To advance the academic and practical understanding of capitalism, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, intellectual property, and entrepreneurial enterprise in SSA. 5. To empower SSA institutions to be self-sufficient and create sustainable programs for combating poverty

Programs

1. Business Selection Program - find qualified firms. 2. MBA Program - Bring top US MBAs to Africa for 10-week summer internships. 3. Mentor Program - Liaise via teleconference, U.S. mid-level & senior mgmt professionals to consult on a bi-weekly basis 4. Management Training - Source top US and local trainers for a 4-day intensive management training program with entrepreneurs in Africa 5. Investor & Industry Promotion - Network and promote African firms to potential investors and partners.
