The Mountain Fund has opened a new medical clinic in Thulo Syabru, Nepal. This project will establish a basic medical laboratory within the clinic.
The clinic will provide basic medical services to the residents of Thulo Syabru and surrounding villages in this remote region of Rasuwa district in Nepal. These communities suffer from health problems associated with crippling poverty, such as diarrhea, worm infestation, malnutrition, acute respiratory infections, and tuberculosis. A basic medical lab will have a significant positive impact on our ability to more accurately diagnose and treat these common ailments.
