Mission

Promote the empowerment and development of youth, encouraging them to wake their entrepreneurial, creative and innovative spirit, and to take their physical and intellectual capacities to work in partnership with community based organizations and their leaders.

Programs

Secondary school education projects (sports, culture, literature). Female student/athlete scholarships. Sport for development. Community grant-making and youth entreprenuerial support.

Personnel Overview

Gabriel Fossati-Bellani - Program Manager
Gabriel came to Mozambique as a Princeton In Africa Fellow in 2003 working as Coordinator for Right to Play. Gabriel consulted for the UN Resident Coordinator on a Policy Paper, UN year of Sports in 2005. He graduated in 2003 from Princeton. There he co-founded the Black Student Union. Born in Milano, he emigrated to Palo Alto, CA at 2 years. He is the proud father of a 13-month old son Amani.

Manuel Monteiro Jr. - Project Coordinator
Actively involved in Sports and started as a volunteer in the Mozambican Football Association. In 2004 took the position as the General Secretary of the FA. Appointed for other international positions such as: COSAFA (Executive Committee) member in the season 2004. CAF (Ethics and Fair Play Committee) member until 2011. FIFA: active consultant for Futsal and Beach Soccer.
