Mission

CHC seeks to promote the health status and well being of rural poor Cambodians, CHC focuses on those poorest people who are suffering from Tuberculosis (TB) HIV/AIDS and STDs and other dreaded diseases, regardless of race, age, sex, religion or political affiliation. Through community mobilization, CHC aims to help Cambodian poor people live in good health with dignity.

(1) TB Community DOTS and TB/AIDS project (2) Support Community Engagement in ART Treatment prepareness project (3) Care and support for People Living with HIV/AIDS project (4) A Cambodian clinical research network in TB & AIDS project (5) Maddox Chivan Children Center for Children Affected by AIDS (CAA).

Personnel Overview

Dr. Chiv Bunthy - Executive Director
He has a background in public health. He has 12 years working experiences in managing community based health programs and experience in management of HIV/AIDS programs with international and local NGOs. He will be responsible for supervising the entire program, acting as liaison with government agencies, oversee the budget and administration of the grant, and responsible for report to Globalgiving

Ms. Ung Choun - Program Field Manager
She is a nurse with extensive training on HIV/AIDS and counseling. She has worked with the CHC for 10 year and will be responsible for monitor the progress of all planned activities, supervise and provide technical and managerial support to project staff, communicate with local authorities and all stakeholders ensure a high standard of quality of services.

Dr. Yoeung Yong - ARV Clinician
He is with experience in Antiretroviral (ARV) treatment. He will oversee the ART clinic; provide medical care and treatment for AIDS patients, monitoring and supervision ARV clinic, the link between PLWHA and the clinic involved in empowerment of PLWHA.
