Supporting access to ARV for 300 PLHAs in Cambodia
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe goal of the project is to increase the role of 300 People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA) and mobilize communities in expanding access to antiretroviral (ARV) therapy in 136 communities of Kampot province in Cambodia, focusing on supporting community engagement in ARV. CHC will work to increase the involvement of communities to provide reliable information, and increase the number of HIV+ people who have access to treatment, thus empower PLHA and involve communities in ARV treatment preparedness ActivitiesIf we raise community awareness about the need of treatment for PLHA, their rights and support the cost of refer patient to OI/ART services, we will be able to reduce stigmas and number of people starting and remaining on treatment will be increased.
