More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThis program aims to fight against babies malnutrition in Casablanca and the area around it by providing medical assistance, hygiene lessons, and the necessary things to bring babies to a normal weight, i.e. milk, baby cereals, drugs, clothes. We teach mothers hygiene, family planning, their civil rights regarding the new regulations (Moudawana) and give them explanations about how to take care of their babies. ActivitiesWe provide listening time to the mothers to try to make them feel better, medical visits to babies to evaluate their condition and explain clearly to the mothers how to take care of them and offer regular follow-up to evaluate the progress. Why this Project is ImportantPotential Long Term ImpactThe project serves + than 300 babies/year. It tries to fill the Public Health's gaps and reduce the infant mortality rate.
