Latest Update from the Field

Delivering English literacy support to Madagascar!

By Carole Patrikakos - Development Associate, February 29, 2008 04:53 PM

Books For Africa was contracted by USAID to deliver two 40-foot containers of English text and reading books to the Ministry of Education in Antananarivo, Madagascar. The containers arrived in November 2007 for distribution to area schools and libraries.

Once Books For Africa receives favorable feedback from book recipients in Antananarivo, we intend to pursue additional funding so as to complete fundraising for two containers of books designated for Feedback Madagascar in the Fianarantsoa region.
