By targeting women it provides them with key resources to enable them to take control of their lives through self-help groups and skills training. Raise awareness by offering training in gender equality, farmers’ rights, and importance of economic independence. Provide medical care and support. In the past months OWDEB has facilitated vocational training in livestock rearing and small business development. The women who wanted to have more opportunities for selling their goods specifically requested this training to develop their knowledge.
