More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Refilwe provides a safe and structured environment for children in this severely disadvantaged community devasted by aids. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 will grow up in a safe and loving family environment with access to all programs that Refilwe offers – education, medical care, food and will remain at Refilwe until they are able to fend for themselves. Helping these children will offer hope that their cycle of poverty will be broken and for their offspring as well.

A Visit to Refile

By Brian La Trobe - Dr., October 10, 2008 03:17 PM

We were very happy to have some visitors from the USA at Refilwe. Chris La Trobe and his partner Gundula Moldenhawer came from Chicago to view the almost completed Global Giving House. The first picture is of the Missy & Mike Young, Refilwe visitors who hail from Washington DC, USA.
The house Mother and Father Maureen and Harry are pictured with Chris and Gundula with the first young orphaned children to live in the house (second picture). The last picture is of the children in their new bedroom.

Thanks for your generous support and enjoy the photos!
