Share & SaveMore Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesProject addresses the girl child absenteeism from school more so during menstruation periods due to exposed toilets, disease incidence such as diarrhoea and typhoid and high student drop out rates. Perfomance in SMT subjects to all school going children with focus on the girl child is improved. The project seeks to reign in high rates of girl absenteeism and dropping out of school. ActivitiesWe'll provide required toilets at ratio 1:25 for girls;1:30 for boys, hand-wash, water tanks, rain harvesting and sanitary facilities, then train on use and hygiene girls will stay at school, infections will decline and more pupils will finish school Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: $6,633 Additional DocumentationThis project has provided additional documentation in a Microsoft Word file (projdoc.doc).
