Some island schools are not accessible to schoolchildren and teachers. Purchasing wooden boats would take care of the lack of transportation.
Students and teachers would be able to come to town for activities, meetings, training and tournaments. When there are no activities, the boats would be rented out for other uses, generating income for the children’s education and the school’s operational budget.
Children and teachers will be able to go to school and attend activities.
The boats purchased through this project will provide students and teachers access to schools, meetings, training and other events necessary for their livelihoods.
