At 16 years old Alana's family forced her to leave the USA and go to Pakistan where she had to marry or be killed. In Pakistan the families finalized a bride price. Alana was married off, beaten daily and lived in fear of her husband's constant threat that he would burn her face with acid. Alana is back in the USA after a clandestine escape. Now 18, Alana wants to finish high school but lives in hiding in fear of an honor killing. Alana needs a computer to take on-line classes to keep her safe.
