This year's combination of drought and extremely low temperatures has brought food production in the Copper Canyon to a drastic low. Many of the indigenous groups in the region are facing serious food shortages. The populations we work with - pregnant women, nursing mothers, and infants are the hardest hit by food shortage and right now, they need our support.
