We have raised all but $25,000 of the funds needed to help a community build an early childhood education center for 60 children in need in an area of rural South Africa devastated by both the HIV epidemic and by the longstanding effects of segregation, poverty, and unemployment. The program will provide children with critical educational and emotional support, as well as meals and other essential services.
