Control of Lionfish in the Mesoamerican Reef
Control of Lionfish in the Mesoamerican Reef
Honduras  Environment
The exotic lionfish has invaded the Mesoamerican Reef, and has become a serious threat to the marine ecosystem. We will raise funds for lionfish control activities such as communication campaigns, training workshops on capture and handling methods and field activities to control this species. The funds will be used to support fishers organizations, NGOs and authorities within the four MAR countries that are involved in lionfish control initiatives. project reportread updates from the field
