Each year, more than 500,000 Medicaid-eligible women give birth for the first time. For many, it's a time of anxiety as some don't have good role models. Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) works with communities in implementing a proven nurse home visitation program to improve pregnancy outcomes, child health and development and economic self-sufficiency.
