Mini Field Trips

Creative rural teachers see even rainy days as teaching moments. This third grade class took a field trip to a gully outside the school to make mud sculptures. They then formed small groups and wove each students' creation together into stories that they shared with the other groups. This exercised their creativity imagination, team work, and speaking skills. RCEF teachers find new and innovative ways to teach and stimulate learning - sometimes they are done better outside the classroom.
