On March 8, in honor of International Women's Day, K.I.D.S. launched "G.I.R.L.S." (Girls in Real Life Situations), a new initiative aimed at helping girls achieve academically, lead healthy active lives, and discover an interest in science and math. For over 20 years, K.I.D.S. has provided for the basic needs of girls. Through our new program, K.I.D.S. will continue to provide them with these essentials, but also equip women to become active participants in the development of their communities.
