One out of five lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth are thrown away by their families when they come out. In fact, 40-60% of kids who are homeless are LGB or T. Without support, our kids are at risk for suicide, depression, substance abuse, truancy and sexual acting out. But True Colors saves lives and rebuilds families through advocacy, education and direct service to youth and those who care for them. Your donations help hundreds of youth in CT across the United States
