The project will drill boreholes and construct standard toilet facilities in rural primary schools in Lira District which will improve health conditions of pupils through increased access and coverage of clean and safe drinking water in rural areas. It will also reduce diarrhea among school going pupils through Improved proper hygiene behaviors and decreased open defecation and increased use of improved sanitation and hygiene in rural community and primary schools
