Nu is a 9 year old boy, whose family has just re-immigrated back into Bangkok, after having gone back to the parents' village home. They had sold their belongings to start a new life in the village, however, after 8 months of staying there, they found that the family was unable to make ends meet. As a result, they decided to come back to Bangkok to re-start life in the city, anew.
