Building Jobs in Haiti with Building Blocks

The 1000 Jobs Haiti concrete block project will create on-going employment for up to 50 residents of Domond, Haiti. When fully operational the plant will be self-sustaining and provide economic opportunity for the workers and the surrounding area. By supporting these workers as the business is launched, donors can foster economic independence and entrepreneurship in rural Haiti. This is the best way to combat extreme poverty in rural Haiti.
