EQUUS Foundation is dedicated to Helping Horses Heal People and thrilled to be a part of the 2012 Animal Planet R.O.A.R. Matching Campaign. The number of unwanted horses has reached an epidemic level in the US. Tragically, many are slaughtered. Instead, they can be rescued, and many can be retrained and re-homed in equine therapy programs.Therapy programs using horses benefit the minds, bodies and spirits of people with special needs in ways that no other therapy can.
