Girls Club Meeting
The Girls Club meets on a weekly basis at the community library to discuss their school experiences, reproductive health issues, and other issues of concern.

Equip a rural Kenyan library with a computer lab

This project will equip a rural community library with a computer lab, complete with ten laptops, solar electricity and battery charging system, internet access, and an instructor. Africa SOMA has been working since 2007 to open and equip this library, the first one to exist in this isolated and drought-prone area. A computer lab will provide community members and students with technology and professional training, access to educational resources, and a much needed means of communication.
