Microhydro Power for Maducayan Tribe-Philippines

Barangays Maducayan and Saliok of Natonin, Mt Province are home to 135 households (total population- 563) of the Maducayan tribe. SIBAT will facilitate the installation of a 20 kW microhydro power project that will provide the village with clean and affordable energy for household lighting, small appliances and rice milling. The tailrace water of the microhydro project will also be used to provide irrigation water supply to aid in crop production.
