The Polar Plunge is what happens when thousands of people around Oregon run into icy waters to raise money for Special Olympics Oregon. As a plunger you may participate in one of the five plunges around the state. Too cold for you? Show support by pledging. The vision of Special Olympics Oregon is to help bring all persons with intellectual disabilities into the larger society under conditions whereby they are accepted, respected and given the chance to become useful and productive citizens.
