Medical relief for 150,000 Lebanese civilians

This 8-year-old American boy was visiting Lebanon with his family when the fighting started. As his mother, brother, and he fled, they were shot at with bullets that explode into shrapnel. IMC saved this boy's life, though he will be permanently disfigured. IMC also helped his family evacuate the country through Cyprus. Hundreds of thousands of people living in Lebanon are of another nationality, including children of Armenians who fled genocide in the early 1900s and refugees from Sierra Leone
