Children's Community Kitchen in Tornabe, Honduras

To provide uninterrupted nutrition services to more than 130 children from the Garifuna community of Tornabe, this program was born upon witnessing that around 90% of children were suffering from malnourishment, which directly affected their academic performance. Since 2005, JWI has provided balanced and healthy meals to hundreds of these children to complement their learning process. (Photo by J. Alejandro Alvarez)
