Empower deserted women and widows in rural India

India Women and Girls

CHETANA-VIKAS rehabilitates and mainstreams the poor, abandoned women & widows in villages of Central India who are marginalized and exploited. The challenges will be addressed through their legal, social & economic empowerment. The other women of the village will be involved to take up campaigns, actions & will work for their social acceptance & legal rights. This will also result in developing human consciousness & bring about a wide change in attitudes of the society towards such women.
