By promoting soccer and funding basic schooling, Tiempo de Juego (TJ) prevents children from Altos de Cazuca and Cartagena from joining gangs or armed militias, consume illegal drugs, or become delinquents. The program seeks to recover fundamental values of society by applying the rules of soccer for peace and development: fair play, group work, gender equity, humble victory, dignified loss, tolerance and respect for rules.
