Haj Sami was invited by the Rebuilding Alliance to speak to congress, along with Smuel Groag, co-founder of the Israeli group, BIMKOM: Planners for Planning Rights. He went on to speak in 7 states and has since traveled to Italy to participate in Amnesty International's program for human rights.
