Expanding Social Support for GLBTQ Youth

Social support programs have been shown to protect gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (GLBTQ) youth. Unfortunately, there are only 116 programs in the U.S. for the nearly 5 million GLBTQ teenagers. More than 10 states have no programs at all and many regions of the country have very limited resources. We can, should, and must do better for these great kids who are just being who they are. Let's end the high rates of suicide, depression, and homelessness among GLBTQ youth.
