Shelter Fence Work

Ever try to dig through dirt that's as hard as concrete? Here is a photo of our shelter team prepping posts for cement and eventual fencing. Another goal of the Perros Project is to upgrade the local shelter in order to better aid the dogs and improve adoption rates. We were able to construct 3 fences in June of 2010: one to allow people to enter without being overwhelmed by a sea of 43 dogs, a second to create a vacum area where potential adopters could view, and a third to create an area for timid or injured dogs to have space from the pack in order to heal.
