Access global employee networks and special funding opportunities

In 2010, GlobalGiving received about $5.2 million in donation volume through partnerships with dozens of American and international corporations including Nike, Dell, and Discovery.We operate the following corporate programs, with the purpose of earing more money for your great work:

  1. Grants management: GlobalGiving recommends outstanding partner organizations for grants from corporate partners. Read about Dell's YouthConnect program.
  2. Cause-marketing: Through targeted marketing campaigns, companies support and promote one or more GlobalGiving projects. In 2010, Neutrogena pledged $200,000 ($1 for every product sold) divided across three project themes - education, environmental issues, and disaster relief - and allowed their Facebook fans to vote on which GlobalGiving projects to support.
  3. Employee giving programs: Corporate employees give through GlobalGiving's sites to GlobalGiving partner projects. Read about Nike's employee giving portal which generated nearly $2 million for nonprofits in 2011!
  4. Gift card programs: Corporations purchase gift cards to give to their employees, customers, and stakeholders. Companies ranging from Dreamworks Animation to Discovery to Liquidnet have used GlobalGiving gift cards, resulting in more than $544,000 in redemptions in 2010 alone!
