Sewing machine to earn income

Hi supporter/Donor,

I would like to sincerely thank you on behalf of the staff and on behalf of the women and girls of our program for your generous donations to CHHASE.

With your donation to CHHASE to provide sewing machines to poor women, CHHASE distributed sewing machines. It is a routine program for CHHASE in distributing sewing machines on completion of each training. The photo attachment shows our latest distribution program.

Now, Muniamma, one of our beneficiary is doing her sewing business and earning while looking after her her children. She said “I never saved  money earlier, Now I am saving Rs.1000 per month. Now I am sending my children to school and  pay doctor fee, when we are sick,”

After being trained in the vocational skill of their choice, the young women eager to start working. While many of them were successful in small ways, they faced many obstacles in starting a business with their little capital and many familial responsibilities. Your support has enabled us to provide sewing machines to start their own business.

With more young women entering the training in the coming months, CHHASE hopes to be able to extend the opportunity to many more young women in need.
