Somaya is an Afghan orphan who wants to attend school. Her only option is to attend a private school, but does not have the funds to go to the school. This microproject will provide Somaya with the tuition, books, uniform and stationary she needs in order to attend the private school. Without this scholarship, Somaya will be unable to attend school.
Somaya is a young Afghan woman who would like to become a doctor so that she can help the people of her country. Afghanistan does not have enough public high schools for all students to attend, and where public schools do exist, they often do not offer a high quality education. This project will make it possible for Somaya to attend a private high school, where she will receive high quality instruction, which will make her dream of becoming a doctor a possibility.
