Project Report | Aug 6, 2015
Poor orphans moving towards financial stability

By Modjenpa Bibiche | Project Leader, Head of Wealth Creation department

Starting construction

With the funds received from our donors, we were able to begin work at the Mah Dih's Orphanage  and the construction   is ongoing. Several planning meetings were held with the consultants, the Coordinator of the Orphanage and Reach Out Cameroon before the work could start.

During all the follow up visits that were conducted by REO staff, the consultants explained their didfficulties and threats, and proposed solutions were given. One of the major difficulties was price increases and the scarcity of construction materials which is attributed to the poor wheather (heaivy rains) which slows down the business and prevents buyers from going to the market.

During one of the field visits where the Coordinator was interviewed, she exclaimed "Thank you immensly for making our dream come true. I cannot believe that in less than no time, I will be able to have a source of income which will go a long way to support my orphans...May God continue to bless our funders" Mah Diana confessed

This video was made by one of the volunteers who were part of the follow up visits to Mah Di's Orphanage, we hope you can feel closer to them through this, and let us know if you like it!
